J. J. Clarke, award-winning author and best seller on Amazon, creates the Kate Anderson Mystery series. She spent her career in the State of Missouri as an investigator, parole officer, and administrator of the largest penitentiary in the state. Clarke draws on her extensive experience in law enforcement and her degree in psychology to craft compelling characters and stories. Her heroines are fearless, funny, and tenacious.

Clarke and her husband Barry Johnson are restoring a heritage farm in Missouri, and support family businesses and entrepreneurs. They live most of the time in Florida where she is a member of the Florida Writers’ Association and local writers’ groups.
